Federal/State Regulation Compliance

BRI continually coordinates projects with Caltrans’ Right of Way Department.  Our staff of ROW professionals include over 160 years of experience working for Caltrans.  We continue to provide training and insight to Caltrans’ ROW department on both appraisal and acquisition procedures.  Our role on roadway improvement projects is to complete all ROW acquisitions to the following standards:

  • Federal and State Constitutions
  • USPAP
  • Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (Uniform Act)
  • California Eminent Domain Law
  • Federal Highway Administration and Caltrans Procedures
