Friant Water Authority Friant-Kern Canal Subsidence Correction Project

In order to ensure the delivery of high-quality, dependable water and prevent economic impacts to surrounding communities and farms, Friant intends to correct the subsidence impacts, particularly in the southern portion of the canal. The Project will involve both canal section rehabilitation and modification; and construction of a parallel canal throughout a 33- mile long portion of the existing canal, focusing on the areas most impacted most by subsidence.

California Department of Water Resources (DWR) On-Call Appraisal and Appraisal Review Services

BRI recently provided appraisal services to DWR for over fifteen (15) mitigation sites within the Delta region, in addition to providing a technical study regarding market influences for mitigation properties throughout California. Other projects have varied in complexity from single parcel appraisals to the Delta and Susuman Marsh Islands Appraisals requiring full acquisitions for leaseback scenarios. BRI has delivered 43 appraisal products to date.

Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (MWD) On-Call Real Estate Services

BRI has been engaged in multiple appraisal task orders, involving 102 properties, spanning MWD’s vast 5,200-square-mile service area that includes Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. Given BRI’s understanding of the issues and complexities that pertain to right of way appraisal on water projects, we were recently awarded a 7-year contract serving DWR / MWD on the California WaterFix Project.
